What We Believe

We Believe . . .

~ In the verbal, plenary inspiration of the Bible which is the inerrant, infallible, inspired word of God and is the sole authority of faith and practice for the believer. Preserved in the Hebrew Masoretic Text and the Greek Textus Receptus.
~ That there is one triune God in the persons of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
~ That God created the world in six literal twenty-four hour days.
~ In the reality of Heaven and Hell.
~ That Jesus Christ, while fully God, became a man, born of a virgin, was crucified, buried, bodily rose again, and is ascended into Heaven where He intercedes for believers.
~ That Christ willingly died to be the propitiation for the sins of all men, and God freely offers salvation by grace to all who choose to place their faith in the finished work of Christ alone.
~ That all men are sinners and incapable of saving themselves.
~ Man was created as a responsible being and as such, he may choose to accept or resist God's grace.
~ Eternal security of the Believer.
~ That the positions of Calvinism and Arminianism are unbiblical.
~ That the local church is God's institution to carry out the Great Commission.
~ In the two ordinances of the local church; Baptism by immersion for believers, and the Lord's supper as a memorial.
~ In the obligation of believers to live a holy, separated life and to witness to the lost of the saving power of Christ.
~ All forms of compromise with worldliness, liberalism, ecumenicism, new evangelicalism, or the charismatic movement should be avoided by those who wish to live in obedience to God.
~ The imminent rapture of all believers.
~ That all believers will be judged at the judgment Seat of Christ, and all unbelievers will be judged at the Great White Throne Judgment.
